Qualifications summary These qualifications are based on the National Occupational Standards. They are preparation for work qualifications which require learners to develop the skills and knowledge required in the hair industry.
Opportunities for progression The Level 3 Diplomas in Hairdressing and Barbering are suitable for people who have taken a level 2 or level 3 qualifications, and/or have been working in the industry and are looking to accredit their skills and knowledge. These qualifications provide progression opportunities for those with intentions of progressing into employment
3002-30 Level 3 Diploma in Women’s Hairdressing Level 3 Diploma in Women’s Hairdressing
. All mandatory units must be achieved which is 48 credits and a minimum of 10 credits from the optional units. The recommended GLH is 493 hours. Mandatory Units (all must be completed)

A minimum of 54 credits is All mandatory units must be achieved which is 35 credits and a minimum of 19 credits from the optional units. GLH is 454 hours.
