  • Who is it suitable for?

    The City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for Business Administrators’ qualification is suitable for anyone who is involved in any administration focused role in any industry. It aims to develop learners’ highly transferable set of knowledge, understanding and skills across a range of administrative practices and tasks, which can be applied to all industries.

    The objective of the qualification is to support a business administrator’s role in the workplace, providing the learners the opportunity to learn and evidence their knowledge and skills either as part of an apprenticeship or a stand-alone qualification. This qualification also provides the on programme learning for the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.

    The City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for the Business Administrator qualification is for individuals working within a business administration environment. The role of a business administrator is to deliver high quality products and services to the customers of their organisation.

    What’s involved?

    This qualification has been developed to support learners completing the Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard and covers the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the standard. The qualification can also be delivered as a stand-alone qualification, designed for those learners wishing to gain a nationally recognised qualification in business administration.

    The qualification covers a range of topics:

    • managing performance
    • your organisation
    • communication in a business environment
    • project management
    • ICT for business

    Where might it lead?

    When you have successfully completed this qualification you will be a qualified administrator and able to work in a variety of administration environments.

    What is the course duration?

    Approximately 15 months.

    How is it delivered?

    A mixture of prior home study, classroom revision and master class practical training and assessments.

    How is it assessed?

    Online multiple choice tests, practical and written assessments.

    What are the entry requirements?

    Candidates must be able to demonstrate prior Administration knowledge and experience and will be required to complete an Initial Assessment and skills scan at enrolment.
