Who is it suitable for? This qualification is for people who want to work in administrative support roles in public or private sector organisations, or people who want to improve their administrative and supervisory skills.
What’s involved? This qualification is made up of competence and knowledge units. Level 2 will help you gain practical know-how in providing routine and more complex administrative support. The units covered in this qualification include communication in a business environment, principles of providing administrative services, principles of business document production and information management, understand employer organisations, manage personal performance and development, develop working relationships with colleagues, plus a range of optional units including provide administrative support for meetings, administer human resource records, using email and analyse and present business data.

Assessment methods: A combination of observations, assessments, professional discussions, written and oral questioning, online and paper-based tests.
Entry requirements: No prior experience is required; however, learners must be working in an administrative role.
